2 is such a crazy age!!

Lila has been coming into her own little self these days and Kevin & I always find it funny to hear the things she says and thinks. Of course the downside of this is when she's mad she tells you and she always seems to has plenty to say lol! But she's starting to tell me stories & about her day. It's pretty cool! The other day I picked Lila up from daycare and we started the short 10 minute ride home. I asked her the same questions I ask her everyday and it started off pretty normal....

"So, how was school today Lila?"

"Good. I played with Offie."

"That's cool---"

"Matchu loves me."

So at this point I'm like ?? I've never even heard the name Matthew (Matchu in Lila talk) before! I asked her to repeat what she said.

"Matchu loves me. Matchu kissed me!"

??? I am like what?? lol I'm trying to figure if I am really hearing what she is saying right or if I was totally hearing her wrong. She really does speak pretty well & I can understand her 90% or more of the time. So I stop at a stop sign & turn around and look at her. She is wiping her mouth with her hand saying,

"Matchu kissed me! I told him, 'NO MATCHU! NO KISSING ME!' And I wiped it off!"

I swear I couldn't believe she's got this little story that she's telling me! And I STILL had no idea at this point who Matthew even was! So I asked her where he kissed her and her answer was clear as day so I knew I wasn't mishearing her.

"On my lips," (and she pointed then started wiping again), "but I wiped it off!"

I'm dying laughing because this story was so random! I figured Matthew must be a little boy in her class, though I don't see many of the other kids since I usually dont' get there to pick her up until most have already gone, near 6 pm. Kevin was working at Radio Shack so I couldn't even call him to tell him so I called my mother & put Lila on the phone with her. She started telling her the same story she told me. It was too cute! My mom was laughing too. It was just a cute night.

Now every time I pick her up and ask her how her day went it goes a little differently.

"I played with Office. Matchu no kiss me today."

"Oh. Is that good? Do you want Matthew to kiss yo---

"NO!"

LOLOL She cuts me off everytime before I can even really finish the question :) It's the cutest thing I've ever heard. She's turning into such a little lady and she definitely takes after her mom's chatty ways lol.

I did finally get to meet Matthew. He's a cutie from her class. Funny enough I didn't know who he was, but he & another little girl were chatting to me. I asked his name, curious to see if he was Matthew LOL, & the little girl introduces him as HER BOYFRIEND!!! LOLOL Daycare soap operas LOL Drama in the playpen :) LOL Ok, that's enough. I'm just cracking myself up over here thinking about it all. He better watch his little hiney if he starts kissin on my Lila though- she doesn't want any of it! LOL

Time to share some cute pics then go wait for my Kev to get home. He just called to tell me he's on his way. He's working so hard for us. I really love him so much. He's grown into such a great man from the kid he was when we stated dating. :)

The other day after Kevin FINALLY raked the yard.... that pile is still sitting there lol. One step at a time I guess ;)
