Boring Saturday night!

Not exactly one of my most exciting Saturday nights Flirty 2, but I'm not really complaining except that Kevin is still working & it's 9:50 pm & he won't be home for sometime still. It's hard that he works so many hours! I know he is exhausted but he pushes himself & I appreciate it. I am actually looking into working part time at the photography studio in Walmart near our house for some extra cash. I just need to make sure that Kevin & I know a couple specific days that he won't work so that I can. I talked to the manager when she did Lila's holiday pics last week and they are looking for someone. Honestly I'm not thrilled to look for something extra since I am already working full time 40 hours then spending every other minute with Lila, but I know that Kevin would appreciate it if I put in some extra effor. We've talked & he is starting to feel burnt out working 65+ hours 7 days a week. With the holidays & everything coming up he's feeling more pressure too. Indifference Not much I can really do at this point but whatever I can to help our situation.

Anyway, last night Kevin & I went to NJPAC for my birthday gift! He had bought tickets to the Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon Classic Album Live concert way back in September, my birthday was in October, and finally the concert was 11/14. I've been waiting for so long it felt like it was never gonna get here! In the end, it was AWESOME! I hadn't been to NJPAC since I saw a friend perform there when I was in middle school or high school. It's beautiful there & we had beyond amazing seats! We were on the floor, dead center, less than 100 feet back. The band sounded amazing. They played Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety with every little sound effect. They had a sound effect guy in the back that sang but also used shoes & other things to make all these cool sounds. He sounded great & was fun to watch. The woman doing the solos could really belt it out and I found myself really start to miss performing! The main singer looked like David Gilmour and sounded just like him too! His solos were note for note!! The drummer was the only one that Kevin & I weren't so impressed with; he kept losing his sticks & was having trouble keeping on time. In all though, it was great. I was surprised they didn't do more with the lights though. Anyone who has been to any kind of Pink Floyd concert knows that they are usually pretty psychedelic and use a lot of laser lights as well effects. They did have a big screen behind them that had some trippy light effects on it. It was a really cool birthday present & we had a great time being alone & enjoying each other :) It's not often we get that time anymore!

Well, before I head off to relax and mess around w/my myspace and facebook pages and playlists (lol) I'll leave some pics of Lila from Halloween since I never did that yet (tsk! tsk! bad mommy!) & also some of her portraits from last weekend. Have a good weekend everyone!!
